(I know that last one seems out of place, but I was an amateur bodybuilder for eight years.)

I fucked, and I fucked, and I fucked, and fucked while in college. I was at two different unis over five and a half years (plus my senior year of HS was nothing but General Studies). If you weren't a part of my life back then, you would never believe the things I could tell you, so I won't waste our time.

I also made iconoclastic and/or transgressive art, but never regularly.

Lived in Puerto Rico for about two years on the beach of a town called Luquillo (my brother was living there at the time as well). This was without question the oddest period of my life. Much of it I don't remember. Nearly dying was almost a pastime. I penned two novels when I was sober enough to maintain consciousness. They weren't to be sold, but a friend published ten special leather-bound copies of each to be given to my family after my passing. I could go on all day, but that's enough.

I'm basically retired other than investments and philanthropic activities that are mostly handled by others now (to be clear, as much as I wish it weren't true, my money by-no-means came from my book sales).

(I like rhyming and other wordplay. I no longer enjoy structured poetry.)

I am nearly* a recluse these days, but it was not always so. I was once happy and healthy and given a soul. A warmth was formed which made me whole. Its leash I loosed and found it stole. The numb this caused forced blood to roll.

My truce with hate had grown too old. What peace was left was cheaply sold.

Now dropped out in the lonely cold, some thing was born no love could hold. What once was kind, now thunder rolled. With pussy, I was more than bold. The games we played, I would not fold. The strongest of them did as told.

The life I've lived now shows its toll. All left of me is coal and gold.

I now spend most of my time escaping around here for some reason, and doing research for essays/articles the rest of the time. Pretty fucking boring. but that's where I'm at.
